How to set or change your AT&T Office@Hand company caller ID name, or CNAM

Your AT&T Office@Hand company caller ID, or CNAM, is the name your company displays to call recipients outside your organization. You can use the AT&T Office@Hand Admin Portal to set or change your caller ID.

To learn more about caller ID, go to Caller ID Frequently Asked Questions.

Note: You’ll need the admin permission Company Settings > Company Info to adjust this setting. See the complete list of AT&T Office@Hand roles and permissions.

  1. Sign in to the Admin Portal.
  2. In the top menu, click Phone System.
  3. At the top left, click Company Info (a).
    • If your company has a single location, click Caller ID Name (b).
    • If your company has multiple locations, click the relevant location in the Site column, then click Caller ID Name.
  4. Delete any existing text in the Caller ID Name field, then enter your preferred caller ID.
Your caller ID will be displayed in all caps, and must meet these criteria:

    • Contains 15 characters or fewer
    • Includes no special characters, such as &, @, ?, etc.
    • Includes no indecent or profane language
    • May not mislead recipients by:
      • Using a false caller ID
      • Falsely representing a government agency
      • Falsely representing another company, unless your company is that company’s authorized agent
      • Any other means
  5. Click Save.

Note: Your CNAM won’t appear to recipients whose phone carriers don’t support the CNAM feature.
