Updating the AT&T Office@Hand Desktop App and Web

This article provides information on how to update the version of the AT&T Office@Hand App on desktop and web.
Approximately once a month, AT&T Office@Hand releases updates to the app for desktop and web. Updates are released separately for the desktop and web apps, typically at about 12 AM PST.
Updates occur in the background and won’t interrupt active calls or meetings. The app will save message drafts before an update installs and the app restarts.
Manual updates
The desktop and web apps typically update in the background. You’ll see a banner at the top of your app. Click Update now to install the update.
Windows users:
- The app will close during the update.
- Once installed, you’ll need to relaunch the app.
- Rebooting your computer isn’t required.
Mac users:
- Choose between closing the app to update it immediately or deferring the update to later.
- The app will relaunch automatically once installed.
- Rebooting your computer isn’t required.
You can also check for new updates and install them yourself.
- To check for updates:
- All users: Click your profile photo at the top left corner of the AT&T Office@Hand Desktop or Web, then select Check for updates in the dropdown.
- macOS users: Click AT&T Office@Hand in the Mac menu bar, then select Check for updates in the dropdown.
- Windows users: Click Help in the top menu bar, then select Check for updates in the dropdown.
- A popup window will appear.
- If your app is up to date, the popup will inform you that you’re using the latest version. Click Ok to close the window.
NOTE: You can also click About AT&T Office@Hand to see version information.
- If an update is available, the popup will prompt you to install it.
- Click Update to install the update.
- Click Not now to close the popup without installing the update.
