Subject: Important: New AT&T Office@Hand Mobile App Launching in April

Dear AT&T Office@Hand Administrator,

Your AT&T Office@Hand mobile application is being upgraded to a new version, which is launching in April 2020. Our updated mobile app will consolidate features across our two existing apps—allowing your users to place calls and join video conferences in one single app.

What’s changing:

  • Calling: Your existing calling features will be available under the ‘phone’ tab. We’re also adding new calling features including warm transfer and three-way calling.
  • Meetings: A new ‘video’ tab will be added that includes all features from the standalone AT&T Office@Hand Meetings app, plus the ability to ‘call me’ when joining a meeting. The standalone AT&T Office@Hand Meetings app will no longer be required and can be uninstalled.
  • Fax: Fax functionality will be available under the ‘call’ tab. We are removing a little-used ‘documents’ section for storing unsent faxes. Faxes can still be uploaded directly. Please remove any documents you need access to before updating to the new app in April 2020.

Next steps:

  • Start communicating to your users now, so they are prepared for the update in April.
  • You and your users will be invited to download the latest versions of the mobile app in April 2020. Users will need to re-login to the app after updating. Please ensure users check call settings for WIFI/data/carrier calling to ensure it aligns with their needs.
  • In a few months, there will be a mandatory migration for any users who have not updated.

We will provide additional communication to you and your existing mobile app users when the new app becomes available for download.
