AT&T Office@Hand App allows Users to transfer calls with the following options: Ask First, Transfer Now and, To Voicemail.
Transfer Now, also known as a cold transfer lets you transfer a calls directly to an extension or contact without the need to talk to them first.
Ask First, also known as a warm transfer lets you speak with the person before transferring them a call.
To Voicemail gives you the option to transfer a call to your target contact’s voicemail. These options are beneficial if you want to make sure your transferred calls will be connected accordingly to the other recipient.

How to Warm Transfer a Call
- During a call, tap Call Actions > Transfer.
- Select a contact from the list or tap the dialer to dial the number.
- Tap Ask First. You will then have the chance to talk to the other party before transferring the call.
- Tap Transfer button to complete.
How to Cold Transfer a Call
- During a call, tap Call Actions > Transfer.
- Select a contact from the list or tap the dialer to dial the number.
- Tap Transfer Now and the call will be transferred right away.
How to Transfer to Voicemail
NOTE: When a User is in a three-way call, they won’t be able to make a warm transfer to a fourth person. To Voicemail is ONLY available to contacts, extensions or direct number under the same AT&T Office@Hand account.
- During a call, tap Call Actions > Transfer.
- Select a contact from the list or tap the dialer to dial the number.
- Tap To Voicemail. The call will be transferred to the recipient’s voicemail.
