TCR Registration Fees │ AT&T Office@Hand

Article# 95270

NOTE: The following SMS registration fees are in USD for both AT&T Office@Hand US and Canada customers.

The Campaign Registry (TCR) is working with mobile carriers to help register businesses so they can send SMS/MMS messages. Learn more about TCR registration.

TCR charges various fees to manage these registrations, as do SMS aggregators, mobile carriers, and third-party vetting services required by the carriers for specific use cases or SMS traffic volumes.

AT&T Office@Hand is not currently charging any additional fees for TCR registration.

Brand registration fees

Brand registration fees are one-time fees for registering your business with TCR. Brand registration helps prevent bad actors from sending spam messages pretending to be your business or as your company. As such, most customers will only need one brand registration unless they have multiple sub-brands operating under one AT&T Office@Hand account.

NOTE: Brand registration fees are applied for every brand application, and you’ll be charged the brand application fee if your brand submission is rejected.

Item Fee Required for Charged by
Brand application fee $4 (one-time) All businesses TCR
Brand vetting fee $40 (one-time) Businesses sending more than 2,000 messages per day to T-Mobile subscribers (without vetting, T-Mobile will block your messages once you’ve reached this threshold) TCR partnered third party vetting service

NOTE: To request brand vetting ($40 one-time fee), please contact AT&T Office@Hand support.

Campaign registration fees

Campaign registration fees include a one-time vetting fee and a variable monthly fee depending on how you use SMS. A campaign must be registered, and numbers assigned to it to use SMS. By registering your use case, carriers will better understand how you are using SMS and be able to identify any potential misuse, including malicious acts on your numbers. Registering also helps prevent your messages from being falsely flagged or interpreted as policy violations. For example, providing updates on a loan application could otherwise be interpreted as loan marketing, resulting in blocked messages).Because campaigns specify a particular use case for SMS, companies using SMS for conversations and marketing or automated messages will likely need multiple campaigns. By default, campaigns are limited to 49 numbers by T-Mobile; however, if you have a single use case for more than 49 numbers, contact AT&T Office@Hand support so we may assist with a campaign limit exception.

NOTE: TCR requires a minimum three-month commitment for every campaign. You can’t delete this campaign until this commitment has been fulfilled.

Each campaign will be charged both the vetting fee and the applicable recurring fee as outlined below:
