Sharing Your Status in the AT&T Office@Hand Desktop and Web

Your status allows you to communicate with coworkers about your activities and is completely customizable. For example, you can set your status to let coworkers know you’re sick, on vacation, or working remotely for the day.

When you share a status, it’s seen on your profile under your name and next to your name in any direct message, group message, or team chat.

  1. Click your profile picture in the top left.
  2. Click Share status.

  3. Select a suggested status from the list or type a custom status in the Share custom status field.
    • If you share a custom status, you can click the Emoji icon to select an emoji to go with your status. If you don’t choose one, it will default to the speech bubble emoji.
    • When you share a custom status, the new status will appear in the list to choose from, making it easier to reuse in the future. The app will store six statuses; custom statuses will replace the suggested statuses.

  4. Click Save.

 

Clearing your status

  1. Click your profile picture in the top left.
  2. Click Clear status.
