Sharing your Screen and Presenting Files in an AT&T Office@Hand Video Meeting on Mobile

This article provides information about screen sharing and presenting files in the AT&T Office@Hand Video meeting on mobile.

While in an AT&T Office@Hand Video meeting, you can:

  • Share your screen with meeting attendees.
  • Directly share files from Google Drive with participants without sharing your screen.
  • Share your camera view with meeting attendees.

NOTE: Only registered users can share files from Google Drive during a meeting. Users need to connect their Google accounts and turn on Google Drive access for this feature to work. The app adjusts video and screen sharing quality or pauses video to save battery consumption when your phone is in low power mode.

Sharing your screen for iOS devices

  1. While in an AT&T Office@Hand Video meeting, tap the Share button at the bottom menu bar.
  2. Select Screen.
  3. Tap Start Broadcast to start screen sharing.
  4. Tap Stop Broadcast to stop screen sharing.

NOTE: You can enable Do Not Disturb on your iOS device to prevent unexpected notifications while sharing your screen. Simply swipe down on the top of your screen and tap the moon icon to enable Do Not Disturb.

Sharing your screen for Android devices

  1. Tap the Share button at the bottom menu bar.
  2. Select Screen.
  3. Tap Start now to start casting or recording with AT&T Office@Hand.
  4. Tap Stop share at the bottom menu bar to end screen sharing.

NOTE: You can enable Do not disturb on your Android device to mute all calls, alerts, except for your custom exceptions. To enable, swipe down at the top of your screen, and depending on where the Do Not Disturb icon is located on your phone, you may need to swipe left to see other icons. Tap the circle and minus sign icon to enable Do Not Disturb.

Sharing a file from Google drive

  1. While in an AT&T Office@Hand Video meeting, tap the Share button at the bottom menu bar.
  2. Select File from Google Drive.
    NOTE: If you have not granted Google Drive access in settings, you must grant permission via Google Drive.
  3. Search and select a file from Google drive.
  4. Tap Share file.

Turning on/off Google Drive access

  1. Navigate to Settings by tapping your profile photo (iOS) or tapping the Main menu (Android).
  2. Tap Connected accounts.
  3. Tap Google account.
  4. Toggle on/off Allow access to Drive.

Sharing your camera view in AT&T Office@Hand Video

  1. While in an AT&T Office@Hand Video meeting, tap the Share button at the bottom menu bar.
  2. Select Camera view.
  3. Tap the camera chooser button at the top right to switch between your device’s front and back camera.
  4. Tap Share camera view to start sharing your camera.
  5. Tap the pause button at the top left to pause/resume camera view sharing.
  6. Tap Stop share at the bottom menu bar to end camera view sharing.

NOTES:

  • Your Virtual Background will be disabled during previewing and sharing cameras.
  • The app will automatically adjust meeting video quality or pause the video to save battery consumption when your phone is in low power mode. The app will go into the power-saving mode in the following conditions:
  • The battery is lower than 20%: Reduce video quality resolution
  • The battery is lower than 10%: Pause participants and self video.
