Redirect or Disconnect Incoming Calls to User-Assigned Phone Numbers Feature in AT&T Office@Hand

Article# 99596

This article provides information on how to manage incoming calls to user-assigned phone numbers.

You can ask AT&T Office@Hand support to redirect or disconnect calls to numbers assigned to your organization’s users or limited extensions. This is useful if you prefer your users to not receive incoming calls from external numbers.

  • Redirect: Callers who dial any phone numbers assigned to user and limited extensions will be redirected to the main company number. Redirected calls will appear in the Call Log as if the caller dialed the main company number.

  • Disconnect: Callers who dial any phone numbers assigned to user and limited extensions will hear an announcement “The number you have dialed does not accept any phone calls. Thank you for calling. Goodbye”, then the call will be disconnected.

Disconnected calls will not appear in the Call Log.

If you want this feature enabled for your account, contact AT&T Office@Hand Support. Ask the agent to turn on the Block External Calls to DL/DID feature. Let the agent know if you prefer calls to be redirected or disconnected.
