This article provides information on recommended AT&T Office@Hand compatible devices for your migration to TLS 1.2.

In the interest of security, the Office@Hand is updating its platform. Any customer using a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) or phone that is not encrypted with the TLS 1.2 protocol will need to change the domain configuration of these devices in order to continue service. For security purposes, the services that these devices currently connect to will not be available after January 30, 2021. In order to continue Office@Hand service on these devices after this time, they will need to be upgraded according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Affected Devices

If your organization is currently leveraging one or more of the devices in Table 1 below, then an upgrade will be required to continue service. There may be some devices that do not have upgrades available from the vendor. In this case, please see the Compatible Device Replacements section below for suggestions.

Note: The steps for upgrading your device will vary from device to device, and vendor to vendor. Please refer to your vendor’s specific instructions on how to enable TLS 1.2.

Compatible Device Replacements

It is recommended that you purchase an Office@Hand compatible phone from AT&T if your phone is end-of-life (EOL), end-of-service (EOS), or when it does not upgrade to support TLS 1.2. With a compatible model, future TLS, as well as other firmware updates, can be pushed directly to the phone from the AT&T Office@Hand platform.
