This article provides step by step instructions for pairing a Yealink W56P handset to a Yealink W56P base.

The Yealink W52P and Yealink W56P Cordless Phone supports up to 4 handsets when used with the RingCentral Office@Hand from AT&T service. Follow these steps when pairing additional handsets to the Yealink W52P or W56P Cordless Phone.

Note: The Yealink W56P will be replacing the Yealink W52P as Office@Hand cordless phone offering. The Yealink W52P will come with a new handset called the W65H. To setup the Yealink W52P or W52P follow the steps below.

Below are 2 methods to register a new handset:

Yealink W56P Handset Pairing ­ Easy Registration:

1. When the handset LCD screen prompts “Press base paging 2s then press Reg.”, long
   press the Wireless button  on the base station until the registration LED flashes.
2. Press the Reg soft key on the handset to register quickly.

Yealink W56P Handset Pairing ­ Normal Registration:

1. When the handset LCD screen prompts “Press base paging 2s then press Reg.”, long
   press the Wireless button  on the base station until the registration LED flashes.
2. Press the OK soft key on the handset.
3. Select Register Handset.
4. Select the desired base and then press the OK soft key. The handset begins searching the base.
5. Press the OK soft key after searching a base successfully.
6. Enter the base PIN (default: 0000), and then press the Done soft key to complete registration.

After the success of registration, the handset LCD screen prompts “Handset Subscribed” and “Base NO. (The last 4 characters of connected Base’s MAC address)”. After initializing data successfully,
an icon with internal handset number and handset name appears on the LCD screen.
