- What is AT&T Office@Hand Business SMS?
AT&T Office@Hand Business SMS enables you to send text messages, with your business number. There’s no need to use multiple numbers as you have one number for voice, fax and text messaging.
- Is this free?
No, Business SMS is not free. Customers will need to pay a one-time fee to register their company’s business and each campaign in order to start using Business SMS. A monthly recurring fee will also be charged in order to keep the campaign active. Customers will need to associate Users with each active campaign. Users associated with an active paid campaign will get 100 free SMS messages (Standard Edition) or 200 free SMS messages (Premium Edition) at no change. For usage above those monthly amounts, charges will be assessed in either a per message fee or through a month recurring business messaging package charge. - Is there a limit to the number of text messages that I can send?
You can send an unlimited number of text messages anybody in United States and Canada.
- Is there a maximum number of characters that I can send per text message?
You can send a text message with up to 1,000 characters.
- Can I use my toll free number to send out text messages?
No. You can only use an existing local number in your AT&T Office@Hand account to send out text messages.
- Can I use this with my mobile devices?
AT&T Office@Hand Business SMS is a feature that is included when you install the AT&T Office@Hand mobile app.
- iOS: compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch with iOS 10 or later.
- Android: version 4.4 or later.
- Do I need to sign up for a new account to get this feature?
You do not need to sign up to get this feature. This is already available for AT&T Office@Hand Premium and Virtual users.
