Manage Your Company Contacts in the AT&T Office@Hand App
Article #66260
The purpose of this article is to provide instructions on how to manage your AT&T Office@Hand app contacts, including accessing app contacts, performing actions on contacts, and re-inviting an inactive contact.
About viewing and managing your company contacts
Once you’ve added users to your company account, you can view these users at any time via the Contacts option in the upper menu bar. When you first navigate to the Contacts platform, you’ll notice in the left pane that you can choose to view either the contacts or teams that have been added to your company account.
Viewing your company contacts
You can access your company contacts beneath the Contacts section in the left pane. Here, you can choose to view all your company account users, including inactive users.
Searching for contacts
If you would like to search for a specific user or filter your contacts, you can use the search bar in the upper right-hand corner. Simply begin typing the name or phone number of the person you’re looking for in the search bar to begin filtering the list of contacts.
Viewing the status of a user
If you’d like to see immediately if a user is a co-worker or an inactive user, you can do so via the gray user status badges next to each name in the list.
If a user has either deactivated their account or has been invited but hasn’t yet activated their account, their status badge will read Not activated.
Co-workers, in comparison, will not have a user status badge next to their name.
Performing actions on a contact
In addition to displaying all your company contacts, the Contacts menu will also allow you to quickly perform some (or all) of the following actions on another contact:
- Call the user
- Direct message the user
- View the user’s profile
Note: Depending on your permissions or the permissions of the contact you’re attempting to interact with, some of the above actions may not be available to you.
To perform any of the above actions, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Contacts via the side menu bar.
- Select All contacts or Company directory from the left pane.
- Locate a contact using the search bar at the upper right or by scrolling through the list of contacts.
- Hover your mouse over a specific contact to reveal a set of icons at the far right.
- Select one of the following icons to perform the associated action:
- Select the Phone icon to start a call with that user
- Select the Open profile person icon to view that user’s profile
Re-inviting an inactive user
You may notice that if you hover your mouse over a contact with a Not activated user status badge, you will not be able to perform any of the actions listed above.
Instead, hovering your mouse over that contact reveals a blue Re-invite button at the far right. Selecting that button automatically sends an invitation to the email address attached to that contact. This invitation will prompt them to sign up again with the AT&T Office@Hand app.
