Enabling AT&T Office@Hand Cloud PBX for Microsoft Teams
This section provides instructions on how admins can enable AT&T Office@Hand Cloud PBX for Microsoft Teams on the admin web.
To enable the integration between Microsoft Teams and AT&T Office@Hand Cloud PBX using our service, you will use a Microsoft feature called Teams Direct Routing. This only becomes available with Microsoft’s Phone System License. The Phone System License itself enables the Dial Pad in Teams and allows calling via Teams.
Generally speaking, the Phone System License is an add-on to most Office 356 plans but is included in the E5 plan. Microsoft may alter plans from time to time, but the diagram below should clarify which licenses you require in your Office 365 account.
Using the options below, you do not need to change your current license levels for Microsoft 365.
NOTE: The “Common Area Phone” refers to a Phone System bundle, SfB Plan 2, and Teams
SKUs. It works perfectly well when added to any user to provide Phone System capability and is also available for free trial in the MS portal. Common Area Phones are intended for use for devices only and may impact user functionality.
