Initial setup of AT&T Enhanced Push-to-Talk for Android application

  1. From the home screen, tap the Google Play icon Image of the Google Play icon..

  2. Tap on the “Google Play” field.

  3. Use the on-screen keyboard to type “at&t enhanced push-to-talk”.

  4. Tap on the desired result.

  5. Tap on the Install button.

  6. The application downloads.

  7. Tap on the Open button.

  8. A confirmation message populates requesting the ability to send SMS messages.
  9. Tap Allow to grant access.

  10. A confirmation message populates requesting the ability to record audio.
  11. Tap Allow to grant access.

  12. A confirmation message populates requesting the ability to take pictures and record videos.
  13. Tap Allow to grant access.

  14. A confirmation message populates requesting the ability to access the device’s location.
  15. Tap Allow to grant access.

  16. A confirmation message populates requesting the ability to manage phone calls.
  17. Tap Allow to grant access.

  18. A confirmation message populates requesting the ability to access the device’s files.
  19. Tap Allow to grant access.

  20. A confirmation message populates requesting the ability to access your contacts.
  21. Tap Allow to grant access.

  22. A confirmation message populates to allow the application to run in the background.
  23. Tap Allow to let the application run in the background.

  24. The activation process begins.
  25. A message populates advising that the application will send an SMS message to complete activation.
  26. Tap Yes to proceed.

  27. A confirmation message populates requested access to the device’s GPS.
  28. Tap YES to grant access.

  29. Read through the “End User License Agreement”.
  30. Tap the checkmark at the bottom left to accept.

  31. The application activates.
  32. Tap on the View Tutorial button.
    Note: The tutorials can be accessed at any time. You can also tap on Skip Tutorial to proceed to the application.

  33. The tutorials display.
  34. Return to the AT&T Enhanced Push-to-Talk application when ready.

  35. The application is ready for use.
