Enable/Disable Participant's Chat Access+

This article provides instructions on how the host or moderator can turn on or off the participants’ chat access on AT&T Office@Hand Video meeting.

As a host or moderator, you can control who can send a message during a meeting.

Follow the steps below on how to enable or disable chat access on AT&T Office@Hand Video meeting.

  1. Follow these steps to reach the chat on the AT&T Office@Hand Video application that you are using:
    • AT&T Office@Hand Mobile App: Go to Chat tab, then click the More icon (three dots icon); or
    • AT&T Office@Hand Desktop App: Go to Chat tab.
  2. Select the appropriate chat privilege you want to set on your meeting. The host has two chat options:
    • Only host & moderators to chat / Only host and moderators can chat: all participants’ chat tab is disabled; no participants can send a message during the meeting.
    • Everyone to chat / Everyone can chat: all participants can send a message during the meeting.

Enable/Disable Participant's Video Access+

This article provides instructions on how the host or moderator can turn on or off the participants’ video access during an AT&T Office@Hand Video meeting.

As a host or moderator, you can control who can turn on or off participant’s video at a meeting.

Follow the steps below to enable or disable the video privileges on AT&T Office@Hand Video.

  1. Click the Participants icon.
  2. Click the More icon (three dots icon).
  3. Select the appropriate video privilege you want to set on your meeting.

On AT&T Office@Hand Mobile App, the host have three video access options:

  • Disable Video – allow enabling: all participants’ videos are disabled; each participant can elect to enable their video
  • Disable Video – block enabling: all participants’ videos are disabled; participants cannot turn on their video on their own
  • Enable Video for all: all participants have been asked to turn on their videos

On AT&T Office@Hand Desktop App, the host has the same number of video access in the Mobile app but only have a different name:

  • Turn off all videos: all participants’ videos are disabled, and participants cannot turn on their video on their own
  • Turn off all videos but allow the participants to turn on videos: all participants’ videos are disabled, and each participant can elect to enable their video
  • Request to turn on all videos: all participants have been asked to turn on their videos
