Customize Settings in the AT&T Enhanced Push-to-Talk for iPhone application

  1. From the AT&T Enhanced Push-to-Talk home screen, tap on the Menu icon Image of the menu icon..

  2. Tap on Settings.

  3. The settings menu displays.
  4. Tap on the slider to the right of “Vibrate Call” to enable or disable the vibrate feature for AT&T Enhanced Push-to-Talk calls.
  5. Tap on the slider to the right of “Vibrate Alert” to enable or disable the vibration when an AT&T Enhanced Push-to-Talk alert is received.
  6. Tap on Volume Boost to edit the volume boost for AT&T Enhanced Push-to-Talk calls.

  7. Tap and hold the slider button under “Volume Boost”.
  8. Slide it left or right to increase or decrease the volume boost.
  9. Tap OK to save the setting.

  10. Tap on Instant Personal Alert to change how you are alerted when receiving an instant personal alert.

  11. Tap on the radio button to the left of the desired alert setting.
  12. Tap on Ok to save the setting.

  13. Tap on Missed Call Alert to change how you are alerted of missed calls.

  14. Tap the radio button to the left of the desired setting.
  15. Tap OK to save the setting.

  16. Tap on Alert Tone to change your AT&T Enhanced Push-to-Talk alert tone.

  17. Tap on the radio button to the left of the desired tone.
    Note: A sample of the tone plays when you select the radio button.
  18. Tap on OK to save the setting.

  19. Tap on Alert Repeat to change how many times alerts are repeat.

  20. Tap on the radio button to the left of the desired setting.
  21. Tap OK to save the setting.

  22. Tap on the slider to the right of “Message Alert” to enable or disable the message alert.
  23. Tap on Message Alert Tone to change the tone that plays when a message is received.

  24. Tap on the radio button to the left of the desired alert.
    Note: A sample of the tone plays when you select the radio button.
  25. Tap OK to save the setting.

  26. Tap on the slider to the right of “Background Mode” to enable or disable the ability for the application to run in the background.
  27. Tap on the slider to the right of “Call Reconnect Tone” to enable or disable the tone for a reconnected AT&T Enhanced Push-to-Talk call.
  28.  Tap on In-Call Tones to edit the tones that play while on an AT&T Enhanced Push-to-Talk call.

  29. Tap on the slider to the right of the desired tones to enable or disable them.
  30. Tap on the back arrow at the top left to return to the settings menu.

  31. Tap on Display Name to edit your display name.

  32. Tap on the field under “Display Name” and enter the desired name.
  33. Tap on the Save to save the change.

  34. Your AT&T Enhanced Push-to-Talk phone number displays under “My PTT Number”.
  35. Tap on Capacity to see your account’s capacity.

  36. The capacity displays.
  37. Tap OK to close the menu.

  38. Tap on the slider to the right of “Use Bluetooth” to enable or disable the use of Bluetooth devices.
  39. Tap on Contact Sorting to change how contacts are displayed.

  40. Tap on the radio button to the left of the desired sorting method.
  41. Tap on OK to save the setting.

  42. Tap on History Sorting to change how the history is sorted.

  43. Tap on the radio button to the left of the desired history sorting method.
  44. Tap on OK to save the settings.

  45. Tap on the slider to the right of “Automatic Download” to enable or disable automatically downloading attachments.
  46. Tap on Location Change Accuracy to change how your location is generated.

  47. Tap on the radio button to the left of the desired accuracy setting.
  48. Tap on OK to save the setting.

  49. Tap on Restore Defaults to reset all the settings to their default value.

  50. A confirmation message populates.
  51. Tap on Yes to proceed.

  52. The settings reset.

  53. Tap on Logout to log out of the AT&T Enhanced Push-to-Talk application.

  54. A confirmation message populates.
  55. Tap Yes to log out.
