Creating and Managing Text Message Templates in the AT&T Office@Hand Desktop and Web

This article provides information on how to create and manage text message templates in the AT&T Office@Hand Desktop and Web.
You can create personal text message templates and apply them when sending SMS messages.
Create a text message template
- Click Text in the navigation bar, then click the Send new text icon in the text message panel. Alternatively, open an existing message.
- Click the Use template icon in the compose message box.

- Click the New Template (plus) icon.

- Enter a name for the template.
- Enter the content of the message.
- Click Save.

Apply a text message template to SMS
Once you’ve created a template, you can apply it to new SMS messages.
- Click Text in the navigation bar, then click the Send new text (plus) icon in the text message panel. Alternatively, open an existing message.
- Click the Use template icon in the popup.

- Hover over the template you want to use, then click Apply.

- Click Send or press Enter/Return on your keyboard.
Edit a text message template
You can make edits to existing SMS templates as needed.
- Click Text in the left navigation bar, then click the Send new text (plus) icon in the text message panel. Alternatively, open an existing text message.
- Hover over the template, then click the three-dot More icon.
- Click Edit.

- Make any edits to the name or description of the template, then click Save.
Delete a text message template
If you don’t use a template anymore, you can delete it from the list.
- Click the Text icon in the left navigation bar.
- Open an existing text, then click the Use template icon in the compose message box.
- Hover over the template, then click the three-dot More icon.
- Click Delete.

- Click Delete in the popup to confirm.
