Create a Maintenance Reminder

  1. Scroll down to Engine & Maintenance on the left side of the database.

  2. Click on Engine & Maintenance.

  3. Click on Maintenance….

  4. Click on Reminders.

  5. The list of rules displays.
  6. Click the Add reminder button.

  7. Click in the field to the right of “Reminder Name:” and enter a name for the reminder.
  8. Click the drop down menu to the right of “Maintenance type:”.
    Note: You can also click “+ Add new maintenance type” to create a customized reminder rule type.

  9. Select the desired type.

    Note: To have the reminder repeat, use the check boxes to the right of “Repeat by.

  10. Click on the field to the right of “Reminder date”.

  11. Use the controls that display to select the desired date and then click on the Done button.

  12. Click on the drop down to the right of “Reminder access”.

  13. Click on the desired group.

  14. Click on the Add Assets tab.

  15. Click the field to the right of “Add assets”.

  16. Click on the desired vehicles.
    Note: You can also click on the “Show/hide archived (historical) vehicles” button near the top of the page to include devices that have been decommissioned.

  17. The vehicles display, and you can click the Save button to the right.
  18. Click on the Notifications tab.

  19. Select the desired notification type and enter the requested information.
  20. Scroll down.

  21. Click on the Add button and scroll up.

  22. Click on the Save button.

  23. The reminder displays.
