Create a custom rule based on a stock rule

  1. Scroll down to Rules & Groups in the menu on the left.

  2. Click on Rules & Groups.

  3. Scroll down to Rules.

  5. Click on the pencil icon  to the right of the desired stock rule.

  6. Click in the field to the right of “Name” and enter a name for your rule.
  7. Click on the desired color code.
    Note: This determines the breadcrumb trail’s color for broken rules.
  8. Click on Not visible or Visible to set the desired setting for the coloring.
  9. Click the dropdown box under “Publish to groups”.
  10. Select the desired group(s) to assign the rule to.
  11. Click the field to the right of “Comment” and enter any desired comment.

  12. Click on the Conditions tab.

  13. The pre-set conditions display.
  14. Click the document icon  to enable the advanced editor.

  15. Scroll down to the ADVANCED CONDITIONS EDITOR section.

  16. Make the desired edits to the default settings displayed or add additional conditions.
    Note: You can also add more conditions by clicking on them, entering the desired settings, and clicking the Add button.
  17. Scroll to the top of the page.

  18. Click the Notifications tab.

  19. Click on the notification method.

  20. Enter the settings that display and then click on the Add button.
    Note: Repeat steps 19 and 20 to add more notification methods.

  21. Click the Save button near the top of the page.
