Configure Zone Notifications

  1. Scroll down to Rules & Groups in the menu on the left.

  2. Click on Rules & Groups.

  5. Click on the Add button at the top of the page.

  6. Click in the field to the right of “Name” and enter a name for your rule.
  7. Click on the desired color code to the right of “Color”.
    Note: This determines the breadcrumb trail’s color for a broken rule.
  8. Click the “Not visible” or “Visible” button to set the desired setting.
  9. Click the drop down box under “Publish to groups” and select the desired group(s).

  10. Click in the field to the right of “Comment”, enter any desired comment, and then scroll to the top of the page.

  11. Click on the Conditions tab.

  12. Click on the Zone or zone type button.

  13. Scroll down.

  14. Click on the Zone button to the right of “Type”.
  15. Click on the drop down to the right of “Zone”.

  16. Select the desired zone.

  17. Click on the desired event to the right of “Event”.
    Note: The available events include:

    1. Entering – When the driver enters the selected zone
    2. Exiting – When the driver leaves the selected zone
    3. Outside – The amount of time the vehicle spends outside of the selected zone
    4. Inside – The amount of time the vehicle spends inside the zone
    5. Stopped – If the Driver stops for at least 200 seconds after entering the zone
  18. Click on the Add button.
    Note: Repeat steps 12 through 18 to add more conditions.

  19. Click on the Notifications tab.

  20. Click on the drop down for the desired notification type.

  21. Select the desired alert.

  22. Select the desired template.

  23. Click on the fields that populate.

  24. Enter or select the requested information.

  25. Click on the Add button.
  26. Repeat steps 20 through 25 to add more alerts.
    Note: You can add multiple notification methods to notify multiple users at once. For example, the rule can inform the driver, supervisor, and administrator simultaneously.

  27. Scroll to the top of the page.

  28. Click on the Save button.
