Blocking Phone Numbers in the AT&T Office@Hand Desktop and Web #96717

 

You can prevent unwanted and spam calls to your AT&T Office@Hand apps by using the Block calls feature. When you block a number, you won’t receive any calls, faxes, or text messages from that number.

NOTE:

  • Blocking a number blocks all incoming calls, faxes, and text messages from that number. It’s not yet possible to block only text messages.
  • Blocks apply only to the extension where you’re logged in.
  • If you’re a Super Admin and you block a number while you’re logged in to the system extension (your account’s main extension), the block will be applied to all extensions in the account.
  • You can still make calls and send faxes to blocked numbers.
  • You won’t be able to send text messages to blocked numbers.
  • The owners of blocked numbers won’t know that you’ve blocked their texts.

 

How to block a number in the desktop and web app

  1. Click Phone in the left menu.
  2. In your call history, hover over the record of the number you want to block.
  3. Click the three-dot More icon, then select Block number.

  4. Click Block. This blocks all calls, faxes, and texts from that number.

How to unblock a number in the desktop and web app

  1. Click Phone in the left menu.
  2. Select the record of a blocked call, then click the Unblock icon in the call record. This unblocks the number to let you receive its calls, faxes, and texts.
