This article provides information on how to launch the AT&T Office@Hand Desktop in the background for Windows users.

If you’re using a Windows computer, you can automatically launch the AT&T Office@Hand Desktop on system startup.

Launching via the File menu

This option is available only on Windows computers.

  1. Open the AT&T Office@Hand Desktop.
  2. Click File at the top left.
  3. Select one of the following:
    • Launch Application on System Start: Automatically opens at system startup.
    • Launch in background: Automatically opens without disturbing your other workflows. This option appears when you select Launch Application on System Start.

Launching via the Settings menu

This option is for both Windows and Mac computers.

  1. Open the AT&T Office@Hand Desktop.
  2. Go to Settings > General in the left navigation bar.
  3. Next to Launch app at startup, select one of the following:
    • Off: App won’t open at startup.
    • Launch in foreground: Automatically opens at system startup.
    • Launch in background: Automatically opens without disturbing your other workflows.
