How will the AT&T Office@Hand Room Connector for Video be sold?
AT&T Office@Hand Room Connector is sold as an add-on license, as a separate offering from AT&T Office@Hand Rooms. You can purchase it directly through your AT&T Office@Hand online account or contact your account manager to purchase the additional licenses.
Do AT&T Office@Hand Rooms require an AT&T Office@Hand Room Connector license?
No, AT&T Office@Hand Rooms and AT&T Office@Hand Room Connector licenses serve different purposes.
AT&T Office@Hand Rooms is the license that allows you to set up the Video-based meeting room, which can then join and host Video meetings.
AT&T Office@Hand Room Connector is a separate license that extends the life of existing third-party SIP-based room meeting hardware by allowing them to join Video meetings.
Will this be offered as a concurrent license or a per room dedicated license?
Concurrent.
Do we support the H.323 standard?
No, we do not; however, most of the third-party hardware can join by SIP.
Can we make and receive voice calls on the SIP room system?
No, we do not support registering third-party video SIP devices. However, we do offer this feature via AT&T Office@Hand Rooms with the Rooms as a softphone feature, which allows customers to use their room system setup to make and receive voice calls.
I have a number of room systems third-party meeting software platforms today (ex: Teams, Zoom, 8×8). Can I use AT&T Office@Hand Room Connector to connect to these third-party services?
No, this is not supported today.
What happens if I have a mixture of room systems (ex: AT&T Office@Hand, Teams, Zoom)? How do these solutions work together?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to launch AT&T Office@Hand Video meetings from Teams or
Zoom Rooms. Contact your representatives at those respective companies, and your AT&T Office@Hand representative, to learn more about AT&T Office@Hand Room Connector compatibility.

What’s supported in Analytics for Room Connector?
Room Connector is labelled as SIP Video Device in the Analytics portal. It is included in both
QoS (Quality of Service) and Alerts. You can filter the reports to Room Connector by filtering Endpoints as SIP video device.
