Call log definitions

In the tables below:

  • The left columns list all the values that may appear in your call log.
  • The right columns list the meanings of each value.

NOTE: Some values appear only in the Detailed call log view, not in the Simple view.

Field Explanation
Type Indicates whether a call is inbound or outbound
From The caller ID number of the originating party
To The caller ID of the receiving party
Ext Extension number
Forwarded To Forwarding number or RingMe number
Name The name associated with the caller ID
Date/time The date and time of the call
Recording If the call recording feature is turned on, you can click the link in this field to access the recording.
Length The duration of the call
Included Call charges deducted from prepaid calling minutes
Purchase Call charges

Definitions of call log results

Action Explanation
Accepted The call was connected to and accepted by the listed number.
Answered Elsewhere A call that rang multiple extensions was answered by someone who wasn’t the original called party.
No Answer The call wasn’t answered.
Blocked The called number is in your Blocked Numbers list
Busy The called phone number was busy.
Call Failed The call didn’t reach the dialed number.
Call Failure An internal error occurred when the number was dialed.
Call connected The call was answered but wasn’t handled. For example, the call may have been answered by a voicemail system that couldn’t enter 1 to accept the call.
Declined The call was declined.
Fax Not Sent The sent fax didn’t arrive at the intended recipient’s fax machine.
Fax Partially Sent Only a portion of the sent fax arrived at the intended recipient’s fax machine. Possible explanations include poor phone-line quality or a dropped call.
Fax Poor Line The phone line quality was too poor to send the fax to its intended recipient.
Fax Not Received An incoming fax wasn’t received because a proper connection with the sender’s fax machine couldn’t be established.
Hang Up The caller hung up before the call was answered.
IP Phone Offline The deskphone placing the call isn’t connected.
In Progress The call is in progress.
Internal Error An internal error occurred when the number was dialed.
International Disabled The international call you placed couldn’t be connected because international calling isn’t enabled on your account. Contact customer service to activate international calling.
International Restricted Calls to the country or area you attempted to call have been prohibited by your admin.
Missed You’ve missed an incoming call.
No Calling Credit Your account didn’t have enough calling credit to place this call.
Not Allowed Calls to this destination aren’t allowed due to elevated risk, disabled international calling privileges, etc.
Partial Receive An incoming fax wasn’t received in full.
Receive Error An incoming fax wasn’t received.
Received An incoming fax was received.
Rejected The called party rejected the call.
Reply/Replied With Text The Reply with text feature has been used.
Restricted Number AT&T Office@Hand has prohibited calls to the dialed number.
Send Error The sent fax didn’t arrive at the intended recipient’s fax machine.
Sent The fax was sent successfully.
Stopped This attempt was stopped because the call was answered by another phone.
Suspended account The account is not allowed to receive incoming calls
Unknown An attempt to send a fax was made, but the receiving fax machine couldn’t be reached.
Voicemail An incoming call was missed and sent to voicemail.
Wrong Number The called number has been disconnected or isn’t valid.
