Add an AT&T Office@Hand Vanity Number
Article #44154

This article will guide you on how to request for a Vanity number. A Vanity number is a personalized phone number that corresponds to a distinctive combination of letters on the telephone keypad, such as 1-888-MTRGAGE or 1-888-GARDENS, that is easy to remember.

How to add a Vanity number

  1. Log in to AT&T Office@Hand.
  2. Go to Phone System > Phones Numbers > Company.
  3. Click Add Number.
  4. Select Vanity.
  5. Choose a toll-free number prefix from the drop-down box. You may use the * (asterisk) as a wildcard when searching for available numbers. For example, if you want to find a number that ends with ‘SALE’, enter ***-SALE. Click Search.
  6. Choose your preferred Vanity Number, then click Add Numbers.
  7. The vanity number can be assigned to the Auto-Receptionist, AT&T Office@Hand Audio Conferencing, or a specific extension. Select where the vanity number will be assigned to, then click Next.
  8. The next page will provide a breakdown of the additional charges that will be applied in the account upon the addition of the selected VANITY number. Acknowledge the order by ticking the checkbox beside the agreement and click Next.
  9. Click DONE on the order confirmation to complete the request.

The vanity number will be added to the list of pending vanity numbers in your account.

NOTES:

  • Vanity numbers are subject to availability.
  • Administrators can order and may take up to 5 business days to complete.
  • A one-time setup fee of $30 will be charged to your account, and a monthly recurring fee of $4.99 will be applied for the new number. The number(s) may show up as available, although reserved by someone else. A setup fee will not be charged if we find your chosen number is already taken.
  • AT&T Office@Hand has set limits for the protection of customers from fraudulent activities or over-usage. You may get a message saying that you have exceeded the maximum allowed value that can be processed on your account in a single billing cycle. For security purposes, please contact AT&T Office@Hand Customer Service to verify your billing information and request an account limit increase and proceed with your desired transaction.
