Add a personal or shared contact in AT&T Global Smart Messaging Suite

  1. The application defaults to the “Company Setup” page.
  2. Under the “Personal Setup” menu on the left side of the page, click Contacts/Groups/Lists.

  3. Click Show Contacts.

  4. Click New.

    Note: New personal or shared can also be added by clicking Address Book in the top menu, and then clicking Add a new shared contact or Add a new personal contact.

  5. Select Personal for contacts that can only be added to Personal Contacts. Click Shared for contacts that can only be added to Shared Groups. In this case, Shared is selected.
  6. Complete the fields to the left of “First Name”, “Last Name”, and “Mobile”.
    Note: A red asterisk to the right of the field description indicates a required field.
  7. Select the correct time zone in the field to the right of “Time Zone”.

    Required fields must be completed.

  8. Once all desired fields are completed, click Save.

  9. The new contact information displays.
