911 Notifications on AT&T Office@Hand

This article discusses the 911 Notification feature in AT&T Office@Hand which allows users to send notifications by text message and/or email to a predefined list of recipients when 911 is dialed by any user on the account.

Feature

  • For accounts with US lines, the 911 Notifications feature is included with AT&T Office@Hand.
  • SMS sent using 911 Notification feature does not incur any cost from AT&T Office@Hand.
  • Recipients added in AT&T Office@Hand account will receive a notification by text message and/or email when 911 is dialed by anyone on the account.

Limitation

AT&T Office@Hand mobile phone apps using the native mobile phone dialer when a user calls 911 do not trigger a notification.

How to access 911 Notifications window

  1. Log in to your AT&T Office@Hand account.
  2. In the Admin Portal, go to Tools > Account Settings > 911 Notifications.

How to Add 911 Notifications Recipients

  1. Log in to your AT&T Office@Hand account.
  2. In the Admin Portal, go to Tools > Account Settings > 911 Notifications > Add Recipient.
  3. Enter the Name, Number, and Email, then click Add.

How to Activate 911 Notifications recipients

  1. Log in to your AT&T Office@Hand account.
  2. In the Admin Portal, go to Tools > Account Settings > 911 Notifications.
  3. Toggle the switch Toggle the switch to enable or disable a recipient to enable or disable a recipient.

How to Edit the 911 Notifications Recipient’s Name, Number or Email address

  1. Log in to your AT&T Office@Hand account.
  2. In the Admin Portal, go to Tools > Account Settings > 911 Notifications.
  3. Click Edit under Operation.
  4. Edit Name, Number or Email under the Edit Recipient window.
  5. Click Save.

How to Delete 911 Notifications Recipients

  1. Log in to your AT&T Office@Hand account.
  2. In the Admin Portal, go to Tools > Account Settings > 911 Notifications.
  3. Click Delete under Operation.
  4. Click Yes to confirm.

To delete multiple recipients, tick the checkbox next to the recipient’s name, click Delete, then click Delete on the pop-up window.
