View user location history using the pdvConnect web interface

  1. Click Command Center, and then Locate & Communicate.

  2. Select the user by checking the box next to their name.
    Note: You may need to click on the plus sign next to a category name to reveal the entire list of users, or use the search function to find the user.

  3. Select Locate Users.

  4. Now use the calendar to select the date and then click Location History.
    Note: The default is the current date and the maximum number of days you can go back is 60 days. Keep in mind, the user’s location history is only available for the days the user was tracked under a location schedule. So, for example, you could not view a user’s location for January 15 if the location schedule was not set up until January 30.

  5. The location history will now be displayed for the date selected.
    Note: As an option, you can check the “Route” box to see an approximate route, and you can click on the markers to see details and if it is a diamond shaped message marker you can listen to the audio portion of the message. The blue tear-drop shaped markers display location pings that were made at approximately 10 minute intervals. The diamond shaped markers show you where the user was when they sent a message.
