View account or authorization codes with AT&T Collaborate (User)
AT&T Collaborate SM account and authorization codes are used to track call data (such as date, time, and length) by account or category. For example, a law firm that charges clients for time spent on phone calls could use account codes to collect the call data needed for billing. Or the firm may require that the caller enter an authorization code before making an international call.
Depending on how your administrator has set up the codes, you may be required to enter a code before making calls.
If you enter an incorrect authorization code, your call won’t connect and you can try again. After 2 unsuccessful attempts, the call won’t complete and you must hang up before trying again.
