Set User Details ­ on the AT&T Office@Hand

The article provides information on how Administrators can customize the User Details via the AT&T Office@Hand Online account.

  1. Sign in to the AT&T Office@Hand Online account as an Administrator.
  2. Navigate to Admin Portal > User > User List > Users with Extensions.
  3. Click a user whose details need to be modified, then click User Details.
  4. Enter the user’s information or modify the following information:
User Details
General Settings & Permissions

 

Job Title

Enter the user’s position/designation in the organization.

Department

Enter the user’s department or division in the organization.

Contact Phone

Enter the number where the user can be contacted when verifying his/her identity.

Email

Enter the email address where the user can receive their AT&T Office@Hand Security Notices. The user can also use this email address for logging in to AT&T Office@Hand services.

Status

Click Enable to unlock a user after several failed login attempts. Click Disable to lock the user’s extension.

Password

Click the Change Password button to update a user’s Password, Pin or Security Question. Links are provided below for instructions.

Record User Name

Use this option to ensure that the User’s name is pronounced correctly by the system operator. You can spell out the name the way it sounds to help the operator, or you can record the name using your voice and use it for announcements instead. Receive information on products, training Materials

If you want your Users to receive documents about AT&T Office@Hand’s products and services, tick Yes, I would like to receive information on product education, training materials, etc, then click Save.

Regional Settings

The Regional Settings section allows you to modify the following:

  • Time Zone – See Set a User’s Hours of Operation and Time Zone to learn more.
  • Time Format – See Set a User’s Hours of Operation and Time Zone to learn more.
  • Home Country Code
  • User Language – Choose the language the user will use to view their account and notifications.
  • Greetings Language – Choose the language the User will use for their phone greetings.
  • Regional Format – Choose the format the User will use for the date, time, currency, and other numbers.

User Hours

Check Set a User’s Hours of Operation and Time Zone to learn how you can set a User’s working hours.

Role

As an Administrator, you can configure what users can access and modify within the system without giving them full admin access. See User Roles and Permissions for more information.

User Groups

As an Administrator, you can assign a User to a group within the organization. See User Groups Overview for more information.

Templates

The Templates feature allows Administrators to implement a set of configurations to multiple users at once through the AT&T Office@Hand Online account, reducing repetitive actions by applying the same settings to a group of users. See User Templates to learn more.

Site

This option allows you to set up users with sites using templates.

Confirmation Message

This option sets how long the confirmation message appears after an operation completes. See Setting up Confirmation Message Settings as Admin in AT&T Office@Hand to learn more.

Automatic Call Recording

This option allows you to enable or disable the automatic call recording feature.
