What are the minimum system requirements for the following Office@Hand services: Online Account, Mobile App, Desktop App, Meetings, Digital Line, and Fax?

The following are the minimum system requirements for your Office@Hand service.

  • Router with internet connection
  • IP Phone
  • Online Account
  • Mobile App
  • Desktop App
  • Softphone
  • Digital Line
  • Fax

Online Account

Supported Browsers

  • Google Chrome: version 41 or higher
  • Microsoft IE version 11 or higher
  • Mozilla Firefox version 37 or higher
  • Safari version 8 or higher

Supported Operating Systems

  • Windows 8 (32 and 64-bit)
  • Windows 7 (32 and 64-bit)
  • Windows Vista with SP1 or later
  • Windows XP with SP3 or later
  • Mac OS X with Mac OS 10.4.3/(Lion) or later

Office@Hand Mobile App

  • iOS: iOS 8.0 or later (iOS 11, iPhone X supported)
  • Android: Android OS 4.4 and up (Android O supported) 

Note: For Android M or later, you will need to turn on required App Permissions:

  • Contacts (view local contacts)
  • Phone (RingOut)
  • Microphone (VoIP call)
  • Storage (store fax/voicemail/documents/photo)

IMPORTANT: BlackBerry devices running on Blackberry OS will not be able to download and install the RingCentral Mobile App.

Office@Hand for Desktop App

PC

  • Windows 7 and 8
  • 1 GHz (32-bit) or 2 GHz (64-bit) processor
  • Minimum of 512 MB of memory
  • 200 MB of hard drive space

Mac

  • Mac OS X 10.7 Lion or above
  • Intel processor
  • Minimum of 512 MB of memory
  • 100 MB of hard drive space

Meetings App

Meetings for Desktop

  • Internet Connection: 600kbps internet speed or higher
  • Peripherals: Webcam, speakers, microphone
  • Windows: Windows 7 or later version
  • Mac: Mac OS X with MacOS 10.7 (Snow Lion) or later version

Meetings for Mobile

  • Android: Android version 4.4 and up
  • iOS: iOS 8.0 or later

Digital Line

  • High-speed Cable, DSL or Fiber Optic Internet service
  • 90Kbps per digital line for Non-Polycom devices
  • 128Kbps bandwidth per digital line for Polycom devices

Fax

For E-mail to Fax/FaxOut:

  • Active email account

Faxing with a traditional fax machine:

  • High-speed Cable, DSL or Fiber Optic Internet service
  • ATA & Digital Line
  • Fax Machine
