Send an alert from the Home tab in Enhanced Push-to-Talk for Android devices

Note: Alerts are text and tone (depending on the receiving phone’s volume settings) only and do not include voice. Both you and the recipient must be in Available status to send alerts. Only one alert may be sent at a time.

  1. From the “Home” tab Home tab icon, tap the exclamation point icon exclamation point icon.

  2. Scroll to and select desired contact by tapping the checkbox.

  3. Tap Send.
    Note: If individual is unavailable, tapping Send produces an ‘error’ tone and message.

  4. Alert confirmation appears.
