Send an alert from the Contacts tab in AT&T Enhanced Push-to-Talk for BlackBerry devices
Note: Alerts are text and tone (depending on the receiving phone’s volume settings) only and do not include voice. Both you and the recipient must be in Available status to send alerts. Only one alert may be sent at a time.
- From the “Contacts” tab , scroll to desired contact.
- Press the phone’s Menu key, and then tap/click Send Alert.
Note: If recipient is unavailable, selecting Send Alert produces an ‘error’ tone and message.
- Alert confirmation appears.
