Learn how to add contacts and groups as well as send instant and scheduled text messages.

Scheduling a text message using the AT&T Landline Texting web application

  1. Click the dropdown arrow to the right of “New Text” at the top of the home screen.

  2. Click on New Scheduled Text.

  3. Click the dropdown arrow in the field under “Send Scheduled Text” to populate the list of contacts.
  4. Click on the contact(s) to include in the text.

  5. Click in the field labeled “Type a message” and enter the appropriate message from the text.
    Note: There is a 160 character maximum for text messages.

  6. Click on the calendar icon and select the date for the text.
    Note: The date can also be typed into the field.

  7. Click on the dropdown arrow to the right of the time and using the scroll bar, locate and select the time the text should be sent.
    Note: The time selected is from the time zone of the device scheduling the text. Time can also be typed in.

  8. Click the SEND button.

  9. The message appears in the “All Conversations” and “Message” lists.
