Requesting directions verbally using AT&T Navigator with TeleNav Track on BlackBerry devices
From the Home screen, tap
Navigator defaults to the Maps page and triangulates your current location via GPS.
To get driving directions, tap
To verbally request a location, tap the microphone icon
Speak into the phone with a description of what you are seeking.
Once your verbal command is received, a search automatically takes place.
Note: If the phone does not automatically search for the location, tap the Tap when done button to initiate the command.
Navigator locates destinations based upon your request.
Choose a location by tapping on the name.
The detail for the location appears on the screen.
You can call the location by tapping on the phone number or get driving directions by tapping on
The location and route appear on the screen.
Go to start hearing verbal directions.
The display populates the route as you go and provides verbal directions. The directions continue until you reach your destination at which time they automatically end.
To end hearing driving directions during the route,
press/click the Back button on the phone. To see the written directions, tap
Navigator displays the written directions for the route along with traffic delay information.
To exit the screen,
press/click the Back button on the phone.
