Requesting delivery confirmation for SMTP messages using AT&T Business Messaging
Note: AT&T Business Messaging supports text only messages (no pictures, graphic elements, attachments or special fonts). This example uses Microsoft Outlook 2010. Your experience may differ if you are using a different version of Outlook, or a different email client.
- Click New E-Mail.
- Enter new recipient addresses as “firstname.lastname@example.org“.
Note: You may also use existing contacts or distribution groups as long as they follow this format. To create a new group, see the “Creating a Group Distribution List” tutorial.
- Click the “Options” tab, and then click Request a Delivery Receipt.
- Click Send.
- Outlook delivers message via SMTP to registered device.
- Delivery Confirmation arrives.
