Receive alerts and notifications for AT&T Enhanced Push-to-Talk for BlackBerry devices

Note: Alerts and notifications are text and tone (depending on your phone’s volume settings) only and do not include voice. They may be received while logged in to Enhanced PTT in available status. Alerts are indicated both in the EPTT application and on your phone’s notification bar with your current status.

Notification bar icons – Tap and drag down notification bar to view details:

  • Available icon Status: Available
  • Do Not Disturb icon Status: Do Not Disturb
  • alert indicator icon Alert Received

Alert types:

  • Instant Personal Alert – The sender wishes you to contact them. Press the phone’s designated Enhanced PTT button to initiate Enhanced PTT reply.
    Note: If individual is now unavailable, attempting the call will produce an ‘error’ tone and message.

  • Missed Call Alert – The sender attempted to reach you via EPTT. Press the phone’s designated Enhanced PTT button to initiate Enhanced PTT reply.
