Upon purchasing the service, it is immediately activated.

5. Can I setup my service in multiple locations?

Yes. You can select either a toll-free or a local number as your main business number, and an auto-attendant system can route calls to multiple extensions. These extensions can be used in a single office or at many geographically dispersed locations.
NOTE:  Extensions can be configured to ring on an office line, a home phone, a mobile handset, or directly to voicemail, enabling flexibility and seamless connectivity with customers, suppliers, and employees.

6. Can I use my RingCentral Office@Hand from AT&T service on my smartphone?

Yes. All RingCentral Office@Hand from AT&T customers can use the Mobile application at no additional cost. You can download the application for free from iTunes, Blackberry App World and Android Marketplace. The app provides access to your entire RingCentral Office@Hand from AT&T business phone system, including voicemails and faxes. It also allows you to use your RingCentral Office@Hand from AT&T numbers your caller ID when you make business calls from your iPhone, dials by extension, and provides access to your entire company directory and much more.

7. Can I update or manage my RingCentral Office@Hand from AT&T service online?

Yes. You can easily customize and update phone system settings through your online account. You can see your call activity, voicemails, and faxes any time, from any computer. You can also update your company directory, auto-receptionist, and greetings instantly.

8. How many users or lines should I include in my quote?

In a cloud-based VoIP phone system, lines and users are not defined the same way as they are in a traditional carrier or legacy PBX/key system. Traditionally, people think of “lines” as the number of incoming calls their business can handle simultaneously.
The limitation of users or lines depends on the plan you have signed up for.

9. Are there any requirements upon initial setup?

To use the RingCentral Office@Hand from AT&T Call Controller and Microsoft integration, here are the requirements:

Windows XP, Vista, 7 Pentium
Minimum of 512MB of memory 200MB of hard drive space

Mac OS 10.5 or any Intel processor
512 MB of memory 30 MB of hard drive space

To administer features and lines via a secure web portal, Internet connection is required.

     • Valid email address is required for the following features:
     Voice Mail to email
     Fax to email
     Summary of charges
     System Notifications

     • Valid Credit Card – RingCentral Office@Hand from AT&T is a prepaid service and requires a valid credit card. Monthly fees will automatically be charged to the credit card. There is no invoicing option.

10. What is the required bandwidth for my service?

It is recommended to use a high speed DSL, cable or fiber optic connection with an upload speed of 100kbps or greater per line.

11. Do I need special equipment or a router to make my service work?

No. RingCentral Office@Hand from AT&T will work with any high-speed, stable internet connects and requires a minimum of 100kbps of bandwidth per call. You need a router that will make the internet connection available to your phones/devices.
