How do I install the Office@Hand Meetings Plugin for Microsoft Outlook? How do I use the Office Meetings Plugin for Microsoft Outlook?

The Office@Hand Meetings Plug-in for Microsoft Outlook provides seamless integration with Microsoft Outlook on Mac and Windows. It allows users to schedule an online meeting within Outlook and it automatically syncs with the Office@Hand Meetings server. Users can also start an online meeting by clicking the Office@Hand Meetings icon within Outlook.

Note: The plugin will still be installed successfully even without the Office@Hand Meetings app installed on your system. However, when you attempt to schedule a meeting, or start a meeting, it will prompt users to Download and Install the Office@Hand Meetings app version 3.7. Also, in order to start or schedule a meeting, the user has to be logged in on the Office@Hand Meetings app.

Download and Install the Office@Hand Meetings Plugin

  1. Click Tools > Meetings App.

  2. Click Download Outlook Plugin.

  3. Click Download for Mac or Download for PC depending on your OS. Follow the onscreen installation instructions.

Scheduling an Office@Hand Meeting within Outlook

  1. Click the Office@Hand Meetings Calendar icon.

  2. Fill in the required information on the meeting invite as you would normally do on Outlook. The Office@Hand Meetings URL will be auto-generated in the Location field, which is also included in the default text in the body of the invite.

  3. Click Send.

    The meeting is automatically synced with the Office@Hand Meetings app.

    Note: When an Office@Hand meeting is cancelled from the Outlook calendar, it will be automatically removed from the Office@Hand Meetings app. However, if the meeting is deleted from the Office@Hand Meetings app, the changes will not impact the Outlook calendar.

Starting an Office@Hand Meetings within Outlook

  1. Instantly launch Office@Hand Meetings in Outlook by clicking on the Camera icon. Choose between Start with video and Start without video.

  2. Click Invite to manually invite participants.
