It’s a complete cloud-based business phone system that eliminates expensive on-premise equipment, includes ready-to-use phones, provides enterprise-class functionality and service is activated instantly.

Any device that requires a dial tone for a user to make and receive calls is considered a “user”.

4. What is a Call Controller?

The Call Controller software is included with the AT&T Office@Hand service.  It will allow you to manage incoming calls to your AT&T Office@Hand number directly from your computer.

5. How can I use my AT&T Office@Hand service for my business?

A AT&T Office@Hand phone system can make a small business indistinguishable from a large enterprise.  Toll-free numbers, auto attendant, and dial-by-name directory, hold music, extension dialing, and calling queues help smaller businesses better compete against larger competitors.  The service is then available 24/7 for you and your customer’s business which sets apart a business’ support level from the rest.

6. What is a Premium user?

A premium user has all the capabilities of your phone system including making both inbound and outbound VoIP calls from SoftPhones and deskphones.

7. What is a Virtual user?

A virtual user can receive incoming calls on existing phones and place and receive VoIP calls from their smartphone. Virtual users cannot use deskphones or use VoIP to make calls from the SoftPhone.

8. What is the Administrator?

The Administrator has full access to make changes to the account setup and configuration. This person will receive the payment and account details upon completion of purchase and on-going notifications anytime updates are made to the account. The Administrator will also be able to make additional purchases from the account and configure other user’s extensions. Other users will only be able to setup their own extensions.

9. What is a cloud-based phone system?

Cloud-based phone system uses the Internet to deliver all the features of a standard phone system— minus the costly setup and management requirements.  It also works with existing phones and mobile devices, so you can work from your office, or take your office with you wherever you go.
