1. What is RingCentral Business SMS?

Office@Hand Business SMS enables you to send text messages, with your business number. There’s no need to use multiple numbers as you have one number for voice, fax and text messaging.

2. Is this free?

Yes, this is a free feature for all Office@Hand Premium and Virtual customers.

3. Is there a limit to the number of text messages that I can send?

You can send an unlimited number of text messages anybody in United States and Canada.

4. Is there a maximum number of characters that I can send per text message?

You can send a text message with up to 1,000 characters.

5. Can I use my toll free number to send out text messages?

No. You can only use an existing local number in your Office@Hand account to send out text messages.

6. Can I use this with my mobile devices?

Office@Hand Business SMS is a feature that is included when you install the AT&T Office@Hand mobile app.

     • iOS: compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch with iOS 7.0 or later (now compatible with iOS 9)
     • Android: version 4.0 or later (Android M not yet supported)

7. Do I need to sign up for a new account to get this feature?

You do not need to sign up to get this feature.  This is already available for Office@Hand Premium and Virtual users.

NOTE:  If you currently don’t have this feature, you can contact your Account Manager for details.
