Meetings International Numbers
Article #9042

What are the International dial-in numbers for Office@Hand Meetings?

When setting up an Office@Hand Meeting from a Global Office, a US Conference bridge and Meeting ID will be generated.  You can join the meeting either by using the US conference bridge, or by dialing the specific International Dial-In number for the country you are currently located in.  When joining a meeting from an international location, you may dial the International Dial-in number using a desk phone, the Office@Hand Mobile app, or the Office@Hand Desktop app.

IMPORTANT: A new Dial-in number (773) 231-9324 has been added for a more reliable audio experience and HD voice quality. After the migration, the Meeting ID will be automatically validated (no need to press “1”). An error prompt appears if the meeting ID is incorrect. Meeting security will also be enhanced by making sure the phone participants cannot enter the meeting before the host when Enable join before host (Meetings Desktop app) or Allow Join Before Host (Meetings Mobile app) is disabled.

  8. Will the new dial-in number appear in my future meeting invitations?
Yes. From the time that the new number is introduced, any new meeting scheduled or started will show the new dial-in number in both the invite and the in-meeting experience.
  9. Will my previously scheduled meetings (in the app) be automatically updated with the new dial-in number?
No, the recurring meeting will need to be updated and the invitations need to be re-sent to the participants.
  10. Will all the features on the voice bridging stay the same after the new dial-in numbers are introduced?
No, two things will change in the experience. First, if a meeting is set so that participants cannot join before the host, the dial-in bridge will respect that and the callers will hear hold music until the host starts the Meeting app. That means the dial-in portion will be more in line with user expectations. Hosts cannot start the meeting from dial-in, they must start the meeting with the app.

Second, the meeting IDs will be validated which reduces the risk of a user mis-keying the meeting ID and landing in a bridge all by themselves.
