What are the things I need to do to maximize the security of my Office@Hand account?

If an account compromise is suspected such as a sudden burst in unexplained calling credit purchases or calls on your Office@Hand account.  The following things should be done:

• Update passwords, PIN and security questions – It is strongly advised to update all passwords and security questions regularly.  For more information go to Changing your Office@Hand password
  
• Disable International Calling – In some cases, the password update will not secure the account, such as reconfiguring a device or device registration theft. Disabling International calling in these cases will help reduce the expense pending fraud prevention’s investigation. For more information go to [ADMIN] Enabling or Disabling International Calling on your Office@Hand account
  
• Remove admin access to all other extensions – For more information go to User Roles and Permissions

In some cases, the password update may not secure the account from a device hack or Session Initiated Protocol (SIP) registration hijack.  Disabling the International Calling feature in these cases will help reduce the expense.
