Place outgoing calls on the AT&T Office@Hand Desktop App+

How do I make a call from the Office@Hand Desktop App?

The AT&T Office@Hand Desktop App is an easy-to-use program that can be installed on your Windows PC or Mac. It is a comprehensive communications hub with all-inclusive phone, fax, business SMS, and conferencing for your desktop. Follow the steps below to make a call on your Office@Hand Desktop App.

The following are required when placing a call directly from the Office@Hand Desktop App:

  • Headset with Mic or computer with built-in mic and speaker
  • Office@Hand Desktop App assigned to a computer

To place a call directly from the Office@Hand, follow the steps below:

  1. Launch the Office@Hand Desktop App.
  2. Click the Call or RingOut button.

    Click the Call or RingOut button.

  3. Enter the number that you wish to call in the To: section of the window or you can click Plus sign icon  to select a Contact from your AT&T Office@Hand Contacts List. Click the Call button to initiate call.

    You have now placed an outgoing call with the Office@Hand Desktop App.

Place outgoing calls on the AT&T Office@Hand Mobile App+

This article contains steps for placing outgoing calls from the AT&T Office@Hand app mobile.

NOTE: “Phone Features” must be enabled by the Administrator for the users to have the ability to place outbound calls using the AT&T Office@Hand app.

  1. Launch your AT&T Office@Hand app mobile.
  2. Open the dialer.
    • For iOS phones: Tap the Call button at the bottom menu, tap the Plus (+) button on the upper-right corner of the screen, then tap New Call.
    • For Android phones: Tap the Call button at the bottom menu, then tap the Keypad button on the lower-right corner of the screen.
      Users who tap Call for the first time may be prompted to set up an emergency or E911 address to place an outbound call.
  3. Dial the contact’s phone number or tap the Contacts icon above the dial pad to select a number from your Contacts list.
  4. Click the drop-down arrow next to From to change your Outbound Caller ID.
  5. Tap the green Phone button to place the call.
