Interactive Notifications on the Office@Hand Mobile App

There are notifications on the lock screen for the Office@Hand mobile app. What are they about?

Interactive Notifications on the Office@Hand mobile app makes responding to an incoming call, text message, retrieving a message from the voice mailbox or returning a call from the lock screen easier. Click on the links below to learn more.

• Answering a Call (iOS)

When you get an incoming call on your Office@Hand mobile app, and your phone is locked, you will get an Interactive Notification on your screen that you can swipe to the left for options.

Button/Action What it does
Answer button   Pressing the Answer button will immediately answer the call and launch the Office@Hand mobile app

Note: If your phone’s Touch ID or Passcode is turned on, you may need to unlock your phone first by using your Touch ID or PIN.

To Voicemail button   Pressing the To Voicemail button will send your caller to your Office@Hand mailbox to leave a voice message.
x button  Pressing the x button will ignore the incoming call.
Swipe to the right When you swipe the Interactive Notification to the right, it will launch the Office@Hand mobile app with the Pre-Call Control options, where you can answer, reply to the caller with a message, or send your caller to voicemail.

Note: If your phone’s Touch ID or Passcode is turned on, you may need to unlock your phone first by using your Touch ID or PIN

• Retrieving a Voicemail (iOS)

When you get a voicemail on your Office@Hand mailbox, and your phone is locked, you will get an Interactive Notification on your screen that you can swipe to the left for options.

Button / Action What it does
play button Pressing the Play button will launch the Office@Hand mobile app and play the voicemail immediately.

Note: If your phone’s Touch ID or Passcode is turned on, you may need to unlock your phone first by using your Touch ID or PIN.

call button Pressing the Call button will automatically launch the Office@Hand mobile app and dial the number of the person who left the message.

Note: If your phone’s Touch ID or Passcode is turned on, you may need to unlock your phone first by using your Touch ID or PIN.

The Pressing the x button will ignore or clear the notification from your screen.
swipe to the right When you swipe the Interactive Notification to the right, it will launch the Office@Hand mobile app play the voicemail.

• Retrieving a Text Message (iOS)

When you get a Text Message on your Office@Hand mailbox, and your phone is locked, you will get an Interactive Notification on your screen that you can swipe to the left for options.

Button / Action What it does
reply button Pressing the Reply button will launch the Office@Hand mobile app, and open the text message thread with the Compose box for your reply.

Note: If your phone’s Touch ID or Passcode is turned on, you may need to unlock your phone first by using your Touch ID or PIN.

call button Pressing the Call button will automatically launch the Office@Hand mobile app and dial the number of the person who sent the text message.

Note: If your phone’s Touch ID or Passcode is turned on, you may need to unlock your phone first by using your Touch ID or PIN.

Pressing the x button will ignore or clear the notification from your screen.
swipe to the right  When you swipe the Interactive Notification to the right, it will launch the Office@Hand mobile app and show the text message thread.

Joining Meetings/Conferences/Calls (iOS)

An interactive notification reminder appears before a scheduled meeting or conference starts. You can either left swipe or right swipe on a Join Now notification.

Note: This notification does not appear if you have the Join Now Event Alert set to None.

To configure the Join Now Event Alert, on your Mobile app, tap My Profile > Mobile App Settings > Join Now > Event Alert, then choose how many seconds or minutes before the meeting should you be notified.

Actions Functions
Swipe to the right Opens the details of the meeting.

Note: If Touch ID or Passcode is enabled, you need to unlock your phone either by touching the Home button or by entering your PIN.

Swipe to the left Enables you to join the audio conference or online meeting right away with a single tap without entering the access code.

Note: If Touch ID or Passcode is enabled, you need to unlock your phone either by touching the Home button or by entering your PIN.

• Missed Call Notification

A notification appears in the push notifications of your iOS device when there is a missed call. This feature lets you view the missed call without opening the Office@Hand Mobile app. It lets you return the call or view your missed calls using the interactive notification buttons.

• Retrieving a Voicemail (android)

When you get a voicemail on your Office@Hand mailbox, and your phone is locked, you will get an Interactive Notification on your screen that you can swipe down for options.

call button image The Call button will automatically launch the Office@Hand mobile app and dial the number of the person who left the message.

double tap  Tapping on the Interactive Notification twice will launch the Office@Hand mobile app and play the voicemail immediately.

• Retrieving a Text Message

When you get a Text Message on your Office@Hand mailbox, and your phone is locked, you will get an Interactive Notification on your screen that you can swipe down for options.
