High-Definition Voice (HD Voice) allows you to establish calls between supported AT&T Office@Hand Desk Phones, Desktop app and Mobile app with high-quality voice audio. To consistently deliver the highest HD quality possible, AT&T Office@Hand utilizes the well-regarded OPUS Interactive codec for audio and video, as well as the G.722 codec for audio.

Availability

HD Voice is automatically enabled and is available to all AT&T Office@Hand service plans, and on devices listed on the table below.

Note: HD Voice is supported on phones configured via AT&T Office@Hand’s assisted provisioning. All phones that are provisioned manually will have HD Voice with G.722 codec.

** Polycom VVX 301, 311, 411, 500, and 600 phones will support a single OPUS stream. Users can only make one call at a time using the OPUS codec on these phones. Additional calls will use second preferred codec G.722. Local conferencing on these phones will NOT support OPUS codec.

** Polycom VVX 501 and 601 will be able to support two legs with OPUS codec. Additional calls on the phone will use the next preferred codec G.722. Local conferencing with these phones will support two legs with OPUS codec. **** AT&T Office@Hand Mobile app – OPUS Codec Support Minimum Requirements: iOS 10.0 or later; Android 4.4 or later; Dual-core 1.5GHz and higher or Quad-core any GHz. If your device does not meet the minimum requirements, your device will still have HD voice with G.722 codec.
