Enabling an alert when TeleNav Track is manually exited on a device using the TeleNav Track web interface

Note: The Application Manually Exited Alert indicates when TeleNav Track is deliberately exited on a phone. Exiting the application requires a short but specific series of key presses, instead of an unexpected loss of power that simply shuts off the phone. This alert is not available for TeleNav Track LITE phones. The feature is not supported on all devices. To view the list of applicable devices, click the link in the interface visible in step 4. 

  1. Click Setup.
  2. Under “Dashboard Settings”, click Manage Alerts.

  3. In the “Tracking Alerts” tab, click on the device.

  4. Add a check in the box to the right of “Application Manually Exited Alert”.
  5. Indicate how you want to send the alert notification by adding a check to the appropriate boxes below “SMS”, “Message”, and/or “Email”.
    Note: If you select email, type in one or more email addresses in the box under “Message Settings” to the right of “Send as Email to”.
  6. Click Save Changes.
