When considering which Analytics package to buy for your business, you can choose between Business Analytics Essential or Pro. How do you know which is best for you?

Essentials is the free version of analytics with basic reporting capabilities like canned reports and predefined dashboards. If you previously used performance reports, Essentials replaces that product. However, you don’t have the ability to create new widgets, customize dashboards, or apply detailed filter views. You can also store only up to six months of historical data and can’t purchase additional storage.

In comparison, Business Analytics Pro allows you to store up to 12 months of data in the base package, with the option to increase storage at an additional cost. Business Analytics Pro also comes with extra features like widgets, dashboard variety, and in-depth data filters.
