1. What are desktop IP phones?

A Deskphone or IP Phone uses Voice over IP (Voice over Internet Protocol – VoIP) technologies for placing and transmitting telephone calls over an IP network, such as the Internet, instead of the traditional public switched telephone network (PSTN).

3. How do I plug in my desktop IP phone?

Using an Ethernet cable with one end connected from your network’s router, plug it on the LAN port of your desktop IP phone.

4. How do I transfer a call?

To transfer a call, press the following on your phone: (#) + (#) + Extension number + (#)

5. How do I make a conference call?

There is a specific button on your desktop IP phone to make a conference call. Press the Conference button and dial the Extension number of the conference call participant.

NOTE:  Conference calls through desktop IP phones are limited up to 3 callers.

6. How do I put a caller on hold?

There is a specific button on your desktop IP phone to put a caller on hold. Press the Hold button to put the caller on hold.
