Call Queue – Customize Greetings via web | AT&T Office@Hand

This article provides information on how to upload Call Queue Hours or After Hours Greetings via web. Custom greetings for a call queue allow you to set up personalized greetings for callers. Follow these instructions to upload custom greetings for a call queue.

 

  1. Log in to your AT&T Office@Hand account as an Administrator.
  2. Go to Phone System > Groups.

    On the Admin Portal page, click Groups under Phone System.

  3. Under Call Queues tab, select the Call Queue that you wish to modify.

  4. Click Greeting. 

    Click Greeting.

  5. Determine whether to upload custom greetings for Call Queue Hours of After Hours and then click the appropriate option.
    Note: This example shows that a custom greeting will be uploaded for Call Queue Hours.

    Note:  To be able to update the After Hours setting, ensure that the Call Queue Greeting is not OFF and you have enabled greeting options go to Call Handling and change the answering mode.

  6. In the Set Greeting window, select Custom.

    In the Set Greeting window, select Custom.

    You can then choose and set your greeting from the following custom options:
    • Record Over the Phone
    • Record Using Computer Microphone 
    • Import  

    • Record Over the Phone 
      Select a number Office@Hand will call from the Call me at drop-down list. 
      If you prefer Office@Hand to call you on a different number instead, select the box below the drop-down list then enter the number.

      Click Call Now. Office@Hand will dial the number you indicated. 

      Follow the voice prompt to Record and Save your custom greeting.

    • Record Using Computer Microphone
      1. Click Record to begin recording your custom greeting using your computer’s microphone.

        Note:  You may need to enable the microphone settings in your browser to record your voicemail greeting.

      2. Click Record once more to end your recording.

        Click Record once more to end your recording.

      3. Click Upload.

        Click Upload.

        Note: Click Play to listen to your recording or Record to re-record your prompt. Click Cancel to cancel recording.

      4. Click Save.

        Click Save.

        Note: Click Play to listen to your recording or Record to re-record your prompt. Click Download   to save a copy of your recording.

    • Import
      1. Select Import to upload a pre-recorded greeting from your computer by clicking Browse and then double clicking the prerecorded greeting.

      2. Click Attach to upload the file.
        Recommended files are:

        • CCITT u-Law (G711a), 8kHz, 8 bit, mono
        • PCM, 8kHz, 16 bit, mono  

          Click Attach to upload the file.

      3. Click Save once done.

        Click Save once done.

        Note: Click Play to listen to your recording or Record to re-record your prompt. Click Download to save a copy of your recording.

      4. Click Save to confirm changes.
